Since They Turned You Into Borg
It's been hard for me
Since they turned you into Borg.
Did you even try to resist?
Or did you believe them when they told you
It was futile?
Your touch is cold
And your fingers -
that once did dance so playfully through my chest hair -
Now only try to assimilate me.
Why did you beam over into that cube?
What made you think you could tap into the central matrix?
Did you think they would not know?
Did you think they would not care?
You used to read my poetry,
But now all you want to do is nanoprobe me.
Remember that time at Expo,
When we saw the robot display?
And you turned to me and said,
"Machines will replace us all one day?"
I thought you were just being funny. |
